October 8, 2013 marks the 60th anniversary of the famous Russian scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Alexander Ovanesovich Vatulyan.

The paper tells about the life and the scientific results of Mark Vol’fovich Losik – outstanding mathematician, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor of the Geometry chair of Saratov State University named after N. 23 января 2014 г. исполнилось сто лет со дня рождения Александра Евгеньевича Либера — яркого представителя саратовской геометрической школы, крупного ученого, получившего важнейшие результаты в диф-ференциальной геометрии и алгебре. Всех, кто его знал, покоряли присущие ему добро-желательность, интеллигентность, широкая образованность. Александр Евгеньевич был человеком большой души, прекрасным педагогом, кумиром многих поколений студенческой молодежи.

Научная жизнь

Российский национальный комитет по теоретической и прикладной механике совместно с Казанским (Приволжским) федеральным университетом и Институтом механики и машиностроения КазНЦ РАН при поддержке Правительства Республики Татарстан, Российской академии наук и Российского фонда фундаментальных исследований проводит в г. Казани 17–21 августа 2015 года XI Всероссийский съезд по фундаментальным проблемам теоретической и прикладной механики.
