The paper reports the 19 the International Saratov Winter School “Contemporary Problems of Function Theory and Their Applications“ which was held from 29 January to 2 February 2018. The School was organized by Saratov State University, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS. The conference was dedicated to Prof. P. L. Ulyanov and covered different fields such as real and complex analysis, approximation of functions, orthogonal polynomials and series, numerical methods of analysis, spectral theory of operators, optimization, nonsmooth analysis, Fourier and wavelet analysis.
